Supershooter2 Shooting Lane Amps Up the Fun at Kraft Hockeyville Celebration 2019
The event included Kraft foods, NHL player autographs, pictures with the Stanley Cup and was capped off with a shooting challenge with NHL alumni at the Supershooter2 shooting cage.
“We had a blast,” states John Erickson, Supershooter2 founder. “It was a fabulous fall day for kids and families to enjoy the community event festivities. We were extremely busy from start to finish. I’m so happy for the town and community. Nothing but smiling faces at the Supershooter2 booth.”
After sifting through hundreds of entries, Calumet was selected and awarded $150,000 for rink upgrades and $10,000 worth of new equipment. The week-long celebration will be capped off with an NHL exhibition game between Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues and Detroit Red Wings on Thursday.
“The Calumet Colosseum is a hockey arena icon that is getting a significant boost from Kraft and the NHL and NHLPA,” states John.
The Calumet Colosseum received some much needed upgrades; including a new ice plant, heating system, sound system and refurbished locker rooms and more.
“Now all they need now is a dedicated training center,” said John. “There are some buildings nearby with space. Hopefully they can build some shooting lanes and include the Supershooter2.”
